This is easily seen in the author's example. Look at the section iTunes presence: itms://itunes.com/album?p=27552046&i=27552037 This "element" is invalid even as XML, due to the ampersand. Thus all resence packets that use the element should break all clients. This is not considered a big issue becuase ppl write terrible code, but if they actually implemented the jabber spec, iChat would have to stop being evil.
